Support Our Cause

The school dropout ratio of female students among Muslims is more than 72% due to different socio-economic factors, including lack of monetary support, awareness, guidance & family issues. Here, the school dropout ratio is a matter of concern. Considering these facts, Scholars Education & Welfare Academy, Delhi (a registered society) initiated a project named ‘IQRA’ 2 years back under which we pledged to select 100 needy girl students from the downtrodden background of our community & help them to fill out the forms for graduation (distance education/Private) from Jamia Millia Islamia. The initiative would help them to continue their study even from home & enable them to be educated as well as independent in the future. Apart from helping those 100 female students to fill out the forms for the above-mentioned respective courses, we provided them with study material and other possible help with the help of a few volunteers. With all the help, the students scored good grades and attained around 80 per cent of the results. Currently, around 48 girl students have been promoted to 3rd year while others have successfully done their masters. Hence we intend to fill out the forms and need to submit the fees of the students who are promoted to the 3rd year of their bachelor's. We request that you kindly contribute to this cause so that we can give the gift of education to these needy girl students.
